Lessons are given throughout the year. We have a heated indoor arena to help keep warm in the long, Alaska winters.

For my lessons, I bring people together with horses who have a desire to ride or be with horses in general. Lessons will be a combination of teaching about horses and what they are all about, things they need safety issues, riding, etc. Lessons encompass both ground work and riding work, dependant on the needs and wants of each student. An hour session encompasses working with people for half an hour on the ground prior to any start of riding. The groundwork and riding combination will bring you to a level of understanding horsemanship you may never have thought possible. It will also enable healing within yourself to aid in successfully feeling like a part of your own community.

Lessons are an hour long and utilize both riding and non riding time. Part of the lessons will be on the ground learning about horse language, how it relates to you, etc. The other area focused on is riding and building a relationship with your horse.
